Day 54 - Larch arrives and new hole in roof

Work started as planned outside Jenny's room today, with the existing roof taken back a bit & 2 new A-beam joists installed to take the load of the new front entrance to the house. Expecting to break through into the bedroom early next week, but roof will be on before then.
Further work also on installing the wall batons ready for accepting the larch cladding - the first batch arrived today too ! Looks very nice, and lets us have a check on the outside colour scheme.
Still no sign of the slaters, though I don't think they're far away given the other progress that's being made.
